DESCRIPTION

Every girl dreams of being an enchanted princess, but how many stop to think about all the grim and horrible things that happen in fairy tales? That's a lesson Tamaki learns all too graphically when she's attacked by creatures she thought only existed in myths! Fortunately, she's rescued by an extraordinary young man: one who's not only part demon; but her future classmate as well, and one of the group of protectors that Tamaki will need if she's going to fulfill her destiny as a Tamayori princess. A destiny that no one's bothered to tell her she's inherited until just now! And if it wasn't bad enough to learn that every plan she'd had for the future has to change, to top it all off, Tamaki still has to start attending a new high school as well!

Terrible anime. Terrible mc. Terrible characters. Terrible pacing.
I don't think I've ever dropped an anime this quickly.

The issue with a lot of these Reverse Harem anime is just how INSUFFERABLE 99.9% of the cast is, and this one really is no exception.

The anime starts off well enough, just a girl deciding to visit her grandma in the countryside. Cool. She decides, in this place that she hasn't been in since she was a toddler, to go her grandmother's home, all alone. A woman. All alone. In the middle of the woods. Genuinely who does that?

She instantly comes face to face with an egg-like creature that defies all laws of nature, and instead of going "what the hell?" like a normal human being, she goes "you can talk?". Yeah the fucking thing can clearly talk. You're not gonna ask what the hell it is?

Then a bunch of other creatures attack her, but this time, she's actually scared because unlike the egg, they're BLACK. Bruh. The typical grumpy guy saves her after she almost gets them both killed because she apparently can't get the words of the incantation out, but somehow says everything perfectly after the guys says it ONCE??? What is happening.

The next few scenes got on my nerves so bad I started twitching.

She goes to her grandma, and I shit you not, all the girl does is repeat a word from each sentence the grandmother says in a slightly puzzled way.

"You're the Tamayo Princess."
"Princess...?"
"Ever heard of the eight million gods?"
"Gods...?"
"Had to get my hip replaced the other day and they found a massive tumor. Don't got much time."
"Tumor...?"

Can you have a SINGLE NORMAL REACTION??? You just found out the world as you know it is a lie, and all this infant brained moron can manage is one word responses. It felt like receiving a "k." after sending a whole paragraph in text.

And that's not even the worst part.

She goes to a new school, and the first thing she does, I shit you not, is to try asking her classmates about the Tamayo Princess thing. Yeah. The super secret thing? The thing about her basically being the chosen one? The thing about her being able to see creatures no one else can? Yeah that thing. The guy stops her, and she's offended for some reason? Like girl if he let you have your way everyone would think you're psychotic.

I don't understand why the main character of most reverse harem anime has to be this stupid and clueless? It's not even an inexperience thing, every single human with a functioning frontal lobe would know not to share something that is clearly insane with classmates THEY JUST MET.

Anyways, I stopped watching there, and I was barely halfway through the first goddamn episode. Terrible experience. Wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.
