87/100I'd rather have a piece of you than none.Continue on AniList_The story of how I was going out with my first LOVE to get my FIRST love._ One of the most sadistic stories I have read justified by the immaturity of adolescence as it progresses thanks to the passion of first love.
Personally, I think the story is divided into two parts, from volume 1 to 4 and then the remaining 5 volumes. In the first part, we are introduced to Kirishima, Hayasaka and Tachibana. The relationships are as follows:Kirishima Shiro: the protagonist of this story, someone quite serious reading lover who for some reason likes to compare life with the authors of his books, goes out with Hayasaka as a second choice. Tachibana is her first choice and childhood love
Hayasaka Akane: Kirishima’s girlfriend... as a second choice, a girl who finds herself tied to the chains of social perspectives her classmates have on her, Kirishima is the only exception and lets her be like she is. His love interest, first choice is Yanagi-senpai who is Kirishima's best friend and engaged to Tachibana
Tachibana Hikari: Kirishima’s love interest, her first choice and first love. She has a boyfriend who later reveals himself to be fake but instead she is engaged to Yanagi, which is Hayasaka’s first choice. She likes Kirishima. As we can see, relationships are very entangled but this gives rise to one of the crudest, tragic and "purest" love stories ever seen
__Vol. 1-4__ In the first four volumes they introduce us to this forbidden relationship, with Tachibana being the center of almost everything. In reality this is the most difficult part of the reading, it contains many explicit parts where clearly remind us that teenage love is grounded on a basis of physical passion that complements the formula of love.
There are many moments of suffering for most but in general this first part is the immature phase of the 3, I think I would not blame anyone who has stopped reading after the third or fourth volume, the way in which the relationship of the three develops, Hayasaka being Kirishima’s second choice and vice versa, Tachibana who is shackled by his immaturity in love using the love notebook as an excuse to sneak into Kirishima’s club and then elsewhere... really hits you in the brain when you realize it’s not a classic harem story. Wait... is Kirishima still the second? And what about Hayasaka?
And so we enter the second part which includes spoilers so... yeah__Vol. 5-7__ Is where we see how the person of Kirishima begins to mature, even if in a way that compares him with Japanese philosophers and writers lol. Here Kirishima has to decide whether she matures and in the aspect of love looks forward or if her soul is still chained to the past with those two women.
After that fateful event at Kirishima's high School, he decides to leave for Kyoto to start from scratch, alone and depressed. However, he meets friends who soon make him recover, but as if it were a joke of fate, Kirishima encounters those two high school lovers whom he had sworn he would never see again... but now he has a girlfriend.
Really not much happens during the first volumes but little by little Kirishima is accepting that perhaps deep in his soul remains a piece stuck in the time of that school which causes Kirishima to realize at the end of the seventh volume that even though his girlfriend is important to him, really not the same kind of love I felt for those two and that’s not a bad thing, it doesn’t mean that love was a lie, On the contrary, what Hayasaka tells him makes him reflect and realizes that doing the same thing he did in prep would be denying all the good things he lived with his friends from Kyoto and Hayasaka knew it, that’s why he told him that and ends up with her in a very unpleasant way.__Vol. 8-9__ All the difficulties and decisions he made throughout history caused many problems, problems that during the first part of the story he decided to flee, but now in the eighth volume he confronts them and tries to solve them on the basis of constant effort and really saying what he feels, at least that’s with his friends from Kyoto, it’s a very strong volume on the narrative level and in my opinion it’s the best of all, here we see the (almost) conclusion of maturity of Kirishima by not repeating what he did in high school and repairing the bonds he had created.
The ninth is the end, Tachibana and Hayasaka do not want to share and know that this relationship cannot continue so they decide to give the ultimatum to Kirishima, with a mix of comedy and memories of the past. Kirishima walks a path in which he divides between two, if follow her first or second love, but the premise here is... which one is which? So much is his indecision that they make periods of a month to know how life would be with each one, and of course the climax is when the passion of the three climbs to the point where they do it together, which explodes in that the crack that always existed ended up bringing them down, hurting them and spreading suffering.Personal opinion Opinions are probably divided between those who believe this is a horrible NTRn't story and those who think it’s a very raw but real version of what it would be to be in the protagonist’s place. At first the truth is that I hated the author with all my being, after all most of the problems and cause of everything in the first four volumes is Tachibana while he uses Hayasaka as the girl who suffers from everything and Kirishima? A good coward for nothing who gets carried away. But after continuing with the story I began to understand what the author probably meant by saying that the love of these 3 was ""Pure"", not as a social sense, but as a personal sense. The way Kirishima uses philosophers and authors to support his actions at certain times is comical but also real, which ultimately makes him balance it out.
If you don’t mind the explicit, raw, and torturous stories, you’ll probably like it, or if you’re just curious about what’s going to happen with these three people’s relationship, I should probably tell you that it’s not really a story like the others, try not to use your common sense and at some point start thinking about the difference between what you should do and also what you want, I think that’s what maturity is about in this story and each of these three characters reflect it. There will be parts where you want to throw the story out the window and I wouldn’t judge you if you did.And still, despite everything I think it was a pretty good story, I liked seeing how the characters grew and how my opinions about them changed drastically as the story progressed, I'm looking at you Tachibana. The author gave subtle clues that in human relationships is very important to consider which I found incredible. In general yes, I liked it and enjoyed it even though I suffered terribly but hey, being liked the second is also big.
