The Fated Villain is so trash. The MC has so many advantages and privileges that it's not even fair for anyone to exist in the same universe as him. It’s like watching a chess match where one side starts with all queens and the other gets a pawn with a limp.

First, he has an overpowered system that basically functions as a cheat code. It tells him everything—from future events to secret identities, so good luck trying to pull off a disguise or a surprise attack. The system also hands out rewards like candy at Halloween, making his cultivation progress faster than anyone else's by a mile.

Second, his pretty face is a literal weapon. People betray childhood friends, sects, and their own moral compass just to breathe the same air as him. He seduces a multi-thousand-year-old empress in two days flat, reducing her to a love struck teenager with zero emotional maturity or life experience, trusting him with her life despite knowing little to nothing about him. not to mention his disciple that spent thousands of years in pain trying to take revenge on him only to hug him the second she sees an ounce of kindness from him (he literally the reason for all the misery she ever felt)

Third, his family bullies the entire verse. He can pick a fight with any clan, sect, or ancient bloodline, and his ancestors will just show up and erase them from existence. No consequences, no nuance, just cosmic-level nepotism.

And then there’s the final, most infuriating advantage: IQ. The MC is written like a reincarnated Mary Sue who solved quantum mechanics in preschool. Meanwhile, 99% of the universe is populated by NPCs who can’t do basic pattern recognition. I can count on one hand the number of characters who even suspect he’s suspicious, and they’re either dead, irrelevant, or conveniently silenced by the previous points mentioned.

It’s like watching someone play Skyrim with a ridiculous number of mods installed god-tier gear, infinite stats, and charisma maxed out just to bully NPCs who, in a fair world, would never lose to him.

Despite all this, I keep reading. Why? Because it’s good trash. If you go in expecting depth, you’ll be disappointed. But if you want to watch a walking cheat code flex on the universe while everyone else drools or dies, this is your buffet.

Great Manhua that uniquely presents itself but is under appreciated for what it's worth.
A review of (I Am the Fated Villain) after catching up to the most recent Chapter 362. This review is based on my own thoughts during this whole reading session as well as how greatly this Manhua has managed to present itself to the Readers. I shall divide this into 5 categories, (Characters & Development, World Building & Lore, Plot & Pacing, Art Style & Layout and Translation & Novel to Manhua Adaption quality)

1. |Characters & Development|
  ~Gu Changge~
  I was surprised by how quickly I was enamored by the Main Character, Gu Changge. The Fated Villain from the very beginning to the current chapter has remained consistent and as you see his ruthlessness and meticulousness you will be surprised. But one thing that I have seen people overlook is Changge and his Character Development. I will not spoil too much, But from seeing him to to this Cold, Callous Demon that has only himself and his survival in mind, to see him become a Person who is compassionate and kind to those he cares about is a subtle telling that the Manhua slowly but surely makes you feel. To see such a selfish bastard, become enamored with the people he cares about made me not only giddy but also a sentimental. That is not to say, he ends up becoming a Kind Saint. No. The Demon after all only has so much love to give. You will understand as you read.
  ~Side Characters & Core Characters~
  Every Single side character that plays even a little into the story has depth to them, and not just the same cliche BS we have seen for years as we have read Manhua. Each characters seem to have and act on their own thought and it intrigues how it will play out. As for the Core Characters, I need not explain much, but I am sure you will end up falling in love with them or disliking them. The Manhua shows a good grasp on peoples emotions. Be it Chnagge's wives, his ancestors, his family, his subordinates or be it his enemies or adversaries, each of them bring forth a unique perspective based on what situation is currently at hand. To feeling humorous or love or to feel anger, disgust or sadness, the Manhua has done a great job.
2. |World Building & Lore|
  Now this is juicy. I won't get too in-depth as it will spoil much. But the world is ever expansive and moving. Every single realm and world that is visited has a uniqueness to them and show their charm. From the bareness of the Lower Realms, to the Majesty of the Upper Realms or the Desolation of the Absolute Yin Skies. Every Place has it's unique take and unique way they introduce themselves. It is a regret I can't say much as to not spoil. as for the lore? The only thing I can say is, this shit goes DEEEEP. Surprised the fuck out of me the more and more I read it. So, this won't be disappointing I promise you.
3. |Plot and Placing|
  The Plot always remains consistent without becoming too repetitive. and by consistent I mean, that it always stays at high peak with few lows. Almost every Arc goes over it's point from start to end perfectly, and at no point does it feel stale or that you would feel bored. Not once during the reading will you feel, that damn, this is the same thing as the last arc. Every single Arc goes about differently and the pacing does not lack behind as well. It will not waste your time with useless info or filler. It will give you everything fast punched but it can also go slow to highlight the importance of the event. The plot and pacing of this manhua are top tiers.
4. |Art Style & Layout|
  I can ASSURE YOU, with 100% confidence, Don't even worry about it. This Manhua has some of the BEST Art in the whole Manhua Community. And again, it always remains consistent which means All beautiful Art. not once does the Manhua suffer from bad art or below expectations. as for the visual paneling. For most fights it glides over the eyes easily. Some of the larger realm fights might be a difficult to understand at first sight, but on a second glance it reveals itself quite easily. I can PROMISE you that the Art is no concern for this Manhua.
5. |Translation & Novel to Manhua Adaption Quality|
  Among all the Translations, Asura's is the most consistent as well as the most easiest to understand and read. Asura makes sure to have a tight grasp on the various cultivation levels of the manhua and they even provide you with a list to keep track of all of them, but the bigger matter is reading quality. Among all the scans, Asura's font choice is the best, and their translation quality overwhelms all of the others. I have read all the other scans as well, but they can not bring forth the same satisfaction that Asura's had. as for Novel to Manhua adaptation. It is just perfect and better in some aspects. While the Novel does have much more details, for the most intricate understanding. The Manhua makes sure to lay it all out so the readers can understand it in a few panels, and the thing the Manhua does the best is the various interactions between characters, be it in a humorous context, a romantic context or in a specialized Chibi style that is extremely endearing. So, again I assure you that the Adaptation quality will not disappoint you.
This is the review written by me, after being caught up to CH. 362. Everything here is my very own thoughts and written by me. As for the TLDR:)

(Read this Manhua and give it a try. you will not be disappointed in any point and it will only continue growing on you. From the gorgeous art to the various characters, they will become endearing. and at no point will there be a feeling of exhaustion nor fear of missing out on novel info. So, for all intents and purposes, This is one of the Very Best Manhua's and I hope everyone can give it a try.)

My Personal rating for this Manhua would be (9.4/10) I very much love I Am the Fated Villain.
If I were to give a more scrutinizing review then still it would be (8.7/10), Read it is worth it.
