90/100
Beautiful manga with unique story
Story: (9/10)
The plot is very original, I enjoy the fantasy aspect. It's filled with faeries, dragons, vampires, spirits, sorcerers, magical beings, and much more yet to be discovered. The plot may start slow at first, but the development is outstanding. I highly recommend giving this manga a try. The anime was beautiful, yet should include more story. I gave it a 9 because I expected more romance and funny moments. Despite that, as you read, you will see the character development of Chise and the strong friendships she makes and you will be satisfied.

Art: (9/10)
There's nothing really special about the art style, it's simply beautiful and with some color it would be just as amazing as the anime. The way the magical world is presented is beautiful and gives you a tranquil feeling.

Characters: (8-9/10)
The character development after chapter 40 is absolutely intriguing. You really start digging into their personalities after that, especially Elias's, who may not understand human emotions but is always there for Chise. Just as I mentioned, Chise's character is steadily developing. She overcomes her struggles one by one and finds her place in the world. Some of the characters may seem twisted to you all irrelevant for the story but if you look closely they all have a role to play.

Overall (9/10)
A beautiful manga, mostly serious with unique story. If you are into fantasy then this will blow your mind. The messages of the story are hidden behind artwork and difficult to understand but once you do it makes sense. I expect more of the characters though. Other than that it's not a waste of time to read.
